A New Look…Sort of
Okay, I cheated. I had previously promised a grand revamp of this blog’s insides (and out), but midway through guessing which encoding my database was and further guessing which it should be, I figured I’d just spruce it up a little here and there with the layout (I’ve been meaning to turn this into single-table format) and colour, instead.
So I cheated. I’ll figure out this Wordpress upgrading another day, because I’m stricken with fear that I will topple the delicate balance on which my blog resides. I’m the one-eyed man in the world of the four-eyed, in this case.
In other news, Chinese New Year wasn’t half bad. Just one or two questions about my future matrimony (which is nowhere in sight—stop asking!) and not a single comment about my weight. Heaven’s kindness was obviously shining upon me those couple of days.
Update: I’m getting feedback that my blog’s old trimming still exist. Which is to say that the logo and words on the top aren’t plain black words, but still the old purpley-pink ones, and that the only difference lies in the side menu moving to the bottom. Is this happening to anyone else?
Hmm, not bad but I was quite a fan of the previous layout. Been meaning to make mine look better, just never get the time.

the words on top aren’t purpley-pink to me buit they do look like you’re using pictures (instead of text - oh just checked yep you are) and stretching it to about 300% of it’s original resolution? it’s really weird. i’ll take a screenshot and send it to you.
Vic, you may want to use GIF format for your header images, seems like the image compression for JPG images is a bit too high, thus they look blurred n with noises.

oh i like that you’re only doing one entry per page (because of the navigation menu at the bottom). did you just change this? or did i just not notice it.
anyway, i forgot to tell you. i like the new look. :) apart from the bad-resolution-header-images. hahaha.

Actually, the bad-resolution-header-images were deliberate, but I realise it looks like a mistake now. But yeah, they were blown up from small and saved.

but speaking of which, an astounding number of friends here are getting married. It’s freaking me out.
