You’re Going to Need a Brain, Too

It is a depressing day in writing when a PR response to my question not only flatly ignores it but goes on to state the painfully obvious.

As a wireless payment provider, what would you caution people against when they move away from a wired set up to a wireless one?

“To realise the full potential of wireless payment, the wireless payment set-up requires Internet access and a retail environment where the customer experience can be enhanced with a mobile payment point.”

That’s like saying you’re going to need eyeballs and eye muscles to give a proper eyeroll.

I know this is off topic but I’m curious, has any of the anti-Singapore nonsense here in Thailand made the news in Singapore. I couldn’t find any mention on the Straits Times site. Idiots here have been burning effigies of your PM and flags and protesting with signs telling Singapore to go to hell. It’s all getting very nationalistic and silly to be honest. Has this not made the news there and if so what’s you take on it?

cy> Thanks. :) The paragraphs haven’t changed…I didn’t make any changes to font or paragraphing/spaces/etc. Hmm.

Max> It has made the news here, but I think the drama’s been played down. It’s okay though; no one here really seems to have taken great offence.

    cakes> I did. Then I wept a little.
