Looking for Writers
As some of you may know, I write for ComputerWorld, having moved over from CIO Asia several months ago, after the two publications were bought by Fairfax Media.
It’s been kind of lonely here, so perhaps my editors have heard my barely-audible sobs from the corner for human contact, and have put out several ads to fill two writing positions.
The writers will start at ComputerWorld first for journalism training before moving over to CIO Asia, where the content is less tech and more business/management-focused.
Both publications aren’t particularly newsy, so it isn’t purely reporting; articles will typically be feature articles, opinion pieces, trend highlights, and the like. You don’t need to be a tech geek (though that would be helpful), because writing skills take precedence over tech knowledge, in this case.
We’re looking for people who are fresh grads to those with several years of experience. Write to me at vho[at]fairfaxbm.com, and please have nice breath.

Pity I’m still under bond to my company. This would seem like a lovely change of environment and pace.
Then again I couldn’t even get a freelance article approved, let alone provide a constant stream of content. I guess I’m not tuned to Business/management-focused stuff but just Tech instead. And the random bit of fiction of course.
Aww…Don’t say that. Things were just a little haphazard several months back when we did search for added freelancers (to complement those we have now) and things fell between the cracks. Don’t blame yourself. We’re still open to your submissions, to be honest.
