Making Good Use of Time
Strange that now while I’m free from work the blog posts have dried up, but I’m happy to say I’ve been making very good use of my time in the last five days of having more time on my hands.
In the past several workfree days, I’ve:
- Indulged in a sudden, unexpected, overenthusiastic spring cleaning session
- Gone to the Salvation Army donation bin
- Had lunch with friends working in the West who always make me jealous when they lunch without me
- Received an E61i and immediately started obsessing over customising it
- Celebrated my grandma’s 92nd birthday
- Attempted to make ice-cream with a salad spinner
- Gone supermarketing in the middle of the day
- Had a beer in the middle of the day
And I still have to:
- Go to the gym
- Attempt a DIY guitar service
- Eventually bring my guitar to a real luthier, probably.
Notice how I’ve left those of the more tedious variety to the last. Well, still got to get them done I guess, amongst other niceties that come with being free and most importantly, being aware of how a precious few weeks of this will come and go with a quick shake of my newfound feathers.

How was attempting to make ice cream with a salad spinner NOT tedious? Oh well. Next time bring your pull-pull one over then we can try again.
time to gym my friend. i saw your reflection in the above image…that ARM..time to gym time to gym.
*raises eyebrow*
It’s a refracted image from my gearbox?
Wow, I didn’t know that curved, reflective surfaces were such an anomaly in these parts of Asia! The things you learn every day.
……….
no lah it’s ok don’t go to the gym
like me
we can NOT GO together!
It was so nice not going to the gym with you today, I miss you!
I promise I’m not linkbombing you again, but anyway maybe we should try this next time instead of the stupid salad spinner! link
Refraction or reflection, let me see u in person.
