They Got Good Gyms in Siam
Watched The King and I tonight, and this is not a good thing, but this may be the first time I’m truly, flat out, white-washed neutral about the production. I wasn’t raving, I wasn’t ranting, and I wasn’t even discussing it at the end. It was just, oh, okay, that was all right. Hope the carpark isn’t going to be jammed. Et cetera, et cetera.
But boy, that was the muscular-est cast I’ve seen of a production that didn’t necessarily need muscular bodies—save for 300, of course.
If this is the only thing your audience has to take away from a production, you should probably be worried if you’re the director. But an eyeful of nice bodies never hurt nobody.

The photo looks delish. I’m contemplating King and I now. Mmmhmm.
Yeah, the one word I had to say was… meh. Although, during the production I was a little perturbed by how large some of the muscle-moobs were.
Great bods anytime, makes the acting better…300 was a treat!
