An ongoing list…
- A child sitting on the floor in a shopping mall, tears streaming down his wet face as his father stands over him, shouting. The child’s shirt says “My Daddy is the Best”.
- A family of four—parents with two teenagers—all wearing earphones, walking silently abreast down the mall.
- The backlit dragon lantern hanging off the beautiful, ornately-carved skylight overhead with the sun glowing behind. I looked away and the sun moved out of position.
- The scruffy man sitting by the roadside on a protruding manhole cover in a blue polo tee, black workman’s pants and maroon women’s shoes.
